Can I participate as a hotelier?

Yes, the UNconference is free of charge for hoteliers – thanks to our partners.

Is the event really free of charge?

For hoteliers: yes. If you are a consultant, you can book a corresponding ticket.

What is a UNconference – and what is different here than at a conference?

No frontal bombardment. You actively participate in the discussion, ask questions and get honest perspectives from the field – without any pressure to pitch.

How does the “Open Panel” work when the audience has its say?

Short introduction by the panel guests, followed by a moderated discussion with the audience. You can ask questions, share experiences or disagree – we make sure that everyone has their say and that it remains concrete.

How does structured matchmaking work from 19:30?

You choose your top topics on site. We use a matchmaking setup (topics/slots) to connect you with suitable partners and discussion partners – efficiently, in a friendly manner, without any sales pressure.

Do I need to prepare myself?

Not mandatory. It is helpful if you bring 1-2 current challenges from your everyday life (e.g. tech stack, processes, distribution, revenue, HR).

When should I be there?

The meeting point is 17:30. The program starts at 17:45 – if you want to join in the discussion, it’s worth being there right at the start.

How long does the event last?

Depending on the location, we are flexible and often sit together and just chat. In general, however, you can aim for 8.30 pm.

What is there to eat?

Cold snacks (e.g. sandwiches, wraps etc.) and drinks – paid for by us. Depending on the location we offer different things, let us surprise you, you won’t go hungry in any case

Are there vegetarian options / how do I deal with allergies?

Yes, there are vegetarian options. Contents are marked on site so that you can check for allergies or intolerances.

Where does the event take place?

This varies from city to city. As soon as we have a final location, we will publish it everywhere. You will also always receive a reminder in advance, where you have all the information bundled together.

What is the dress code?

Come as you feel comfortable. Afterwork, relaxed – no business constraints.

Can I bring a colleague with me?

Absolutely. Please register each person individually so that we can plan with snacks & places.

What do I do if I can’t take part after all?

Please cancel briefly by e-mail. We plan drinks & snacks according to registrations – and are happy if someone from the waiting list can move up.

Are photos taken?

We may take photos for our communication. If you do not want to appear in pictures, please let us know on site – we will respect that.
